Food blogger photo exhibition this week at St Ali

SBS Food photo exhibition

Running until 28 March, an exhibition of 40 of the best food photos from blogs sponsored by SBS Food is running in the warehouse opposite St Ali in Yarra Place, South Melbourne. Its launch on Sunday night also was the celebration of the end of the first food bloggers’ conference in Australia, Eat.Drink.Blog.2010 (which you can follow searching for #eatdrinkblog on Twitter).

This is the photo exhibition as seen in The Age.

It is open from around 10.30 to 2.30 daily. If you are a blogger and would like to contribute we are looking for volunteers to man the exhibition this weekend (please email me).

In the meantime if you’d like to find out more about the whole event you can see my pictures, what the SBS Food Blog had to say, who kicked off the day, Jeroxie‘s and Reem‘s video’s of the day, the view from a late night Canberra party blogger, from Maddy who won a prize, a two part account of the day, Neil from At My Table and find out who spewed (the next day).

More coverage when I’ve recovered from organising the event.

Thanks for the link Ed! The book is amazing… I can’t tell you how happy I am, it was just the sweetest ending to an already fantastic day. Thank you so much for everything you did to help make it happen, and it was great meeting you.

Looking forward to your more extensive coverage of the event!

Hi Ed, my dance card is unfortunately full this week so can’t help out unfortunately. Much appreciative of the the hours and sweat you’ve put in to help make this the most amazing conference ever!

Hope to have more of the discussion points from my talk on ‘how and why we blog’ posted in the next 24 hours.

Volunteer if you can. I did. Lots of interested people, photographers and bloggers in to see the photo exhibition today. Many stayed for a chat and all thought it was great.

So that I increase my chances for next year I spent the quiet times reading my camera manual!
