		<description>A nice write up, I have to agree that although alot of the gadgetry we see today isn&#039;t all that useful, you will find the occasional gem that despite only serving one purpose, will do a great job of it time and again. Take my humble banana guard, only protects my banana (so to speak) but I use it in my bag all the time. 

I guess it&#039;s common sense, if you divide an item&#039;s cost by how often you will use it, it will give you a good indicator as to whether you really need it or not.
