Songs, poems, pictures. And ideas for parties and blog redesigns (coming soon, which I’ve been saying for two years).

It’s been two long months since I launched my win a KitchenAid kindly donated by KitchenwareDirect – with a bit of self interest to promote this blog, my Twitter profile and Facebook fan page.

First I’d like to thank everybody who has entered, getting into the spirit of celebrating six years of this blog. So many have made huge efforts with Noodlecook in Perth, who’s been blogging for a few months longer than me, Donisbaked (who impressively bakes a KitchenAid-shaped cake) and Freehugstommy at Capital Cook all making a huge effort as well on Twitter.

Then there’s Niccooks with his Tomatothon, something I’d love to particpate on once these wonderful fruit that inspired this blog’s name are back in season.

It’s was Noodlecook’s lemon themed post that made me laugh most and as I said she has done a lot to promote the competition, which drew in more competitors lessening her chances of winning.

Meanwhile, I was emailed a delightful pdf from Sarah who’s been pinching over hanging fruit from her neighbours and cooking. I liked it a lot.

The kids at Surfside Primary School in Ocean Grove wanted a KitchenAid for their school kitchen. A great cause.

Others of note include the time and space bending Tardis cake, Toldya’s strangely enticing cup a cino pizza and who can argue with 5 cup scones?

I shall be commenting on each post in the coming days, which was difficult with no idea who was the winner.

Sooooo…drumrolls, Masterchef style pregnant pauses…

So again to thank everybody who participated, KitchenwareDirect etc etc…

The winner is for trainee pastry chef Donisbaked for her post on making a KitchenAid-shaped cake. Congratulations.
